Posting wasn't the problem.
The system was.

The situation

Shaggar Institute of Technology had growing academic programs, a dedicated faculty, and an emerging student body. What it lacked was one communication system connecting them. Social channels existed but operated without editorial direction. Events were publicized inconsistently. There was no shared brand voice, no repeatable content process, and no strategy for building an audience.

Selam's contribution

Selam served as Communication Supervisor from August 2025 to April 2026, designing and running SIT's digital communication function from the ground up.

  • Digital communication framework & brand voice guidelines
  • Weekly editorial content calendars and creative briefs
  • Cross-platform distribution across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Institutional PR, press releases, and event coverage
  • Media monitoring and engagement reporting

What changed

During the engagement, SIT’s social media presence grew across platforms. The figures below were provided as part of Selam’s professional record and reflect account growth across the period. The specific reporting window and attribution of growth to particular activities have not been independently confirmed.

What this project showed

Investing time in an underlying communication system—editorial planning, platform consistency, and clear brand voice—gives an institution a foundation it can build on beyond any single campaign.
